The Morning After
As we anxiously await the outcome of Virginia and Montana to see if there will be total, complete and utter gridlock Democratic rule for the next two years, we do NOT have to wait for the Morning After responses from local bloggers re yesterday's elections, or "Democratic tsunamis" as some pundits were guffawing.
It should come as little surprise that Jessica's Well has plenty to say ...
I was hardly surprised that Eric at The Fire Ant Gazette darkened the living room and watched a movie about death (there must be some symbolism in this course of events and the timing of same.)
George at Sleepless in Midland made it clear that Kinky's quips grew as old as Henny Youngman's old one-liners, thus he voted for another loser instead ...
And apparently Jeff from Archaeotexture was offered a purple thumb for his voting, ala Iraqi voters. If this happened to anyone else, please drop me an email, I'd like to know more ...
There's not really a consensus on the outcome of the election, but hey this is blogging ... where consensus for anything is rare ...
(there must be some symbolism in this course of events and the timing of same.)
And, sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar.
