Gee willickers, this woman could flat out write. To be half as good as she was would be the dream of many in our business. Molly Ivins is gone. Long live her spirit. What a talent. What a wordsmith. What a funny, funny woman. Politicos on both sides of the aisle can sleep easier tonight unfortunately. Molly put up such a valiant struggle with her cancer, as did her kindred twin, Ann Richards. God love 'em and be with 'em both, true Texas giants.
This says a lot about who Molly was and pays great tribute to her wonderful wit. And Cowtown Pattie has a fistful of Mollyisms to remember her...
